The Apple Watch Pro is the most anticipated gadget that will debut on Wednesday at the iPhone 14 series Far Out launch event. Apple is releasing multiple bands to match smartwatches that support different watch faces. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Pro will get unique bands and watch faces. Meanwhile, in another Apple Watch-related development, the Cupertino-based company is said to be launching a new model that is said to be “cheaper than the Apple Watch SE.”
The first report comes from Gurman that the Apple Watch Pro will have a new range of bands that will be “very broad and themed around extreme sports.” There will also be “some pretty information-dense faces for fitness metrics,” he said. By thick faces, he could mean watch faces that show various metrics on the home screen. There is no clarity on this.
He said the smartwatch “will not have flat sides and will be rounded like the Apple Watch Series 7.” He mentioned that there will be a new button on the left that will be programmable. This means you can program a specific button to do a specific task, eg B. opening a specific app.
It’s not covered in the CAD drawings, but the new set of bands for the Apple Watch Pro is quite extensive and plays into an extreme sports theme. There are also some pretty information dense faces for fitness metrics. https://t.co/jSD0KZGe1b

The second development comes from a New York Times report on 9to5mac. Apple will reportedly release a new Apple Watch model that will be “cheaper than the Apple Watch SE” and “compete more aggressively for younger smartwatch customers.” The company wants to capitalize on the growing popularity of wearables for parents to give their kids as “last resort devices” because “smaller screens reduce problems like internet addiction.”
“This model will launch alongside other new versions of the watch, including a high-end wearable for serious athletes that will compete with fitness trackers from competitor Garmin,” the report reads. Both the Apple Watch Pro and this rumored affordable Apple Watch model will be unveiled on September 7 (Wednesday) at the Far Out event alongside the Apple Watch Series 8, which will also showcase the iPhone 14 series.
