James Bond 007’s (imho) coolest (Omega – Sean Connery’s Rolex Submariner Ref. 6538 from Dr. No) diver’s watch is going under the hammer!
Here’s your chance to get your hands on the original watch worn by Daniel Craig in his last outing as James Bond in No Time To Die.
Since Pierce Brosnan famously wore his SM300 in the 1995 Golden Eye film there are some delicious SM divers worn by Ian Fleming’s fictional MI6 ’00’ agent.
Many of the timepieces worn in the set have sold at auction, but this Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition in Titanium is expected to outsell them all as worn by DC.
It is expected to fetch 18’500USD to 24’5OOUSD next month, so the Ref is not that mega bucks. 6438s make it but give it a few decades.
However, you can bid on the watch at Christie’s upcoming Sixty Years of James Bond online auction on September 28, 2022, along with the SM Aqua Terra, as well as several cars, Bond props and a boat.
The SM Diver 300M 007 Edition is being sold by EON Productions Ltd who will be donating all proceeds from the lot to TIME’S UP UK.
It comes in a custom watch box with a certificate signed by Daniel Craig and Barbara Broccoli as well as Michael G Wilson and Reynold Eishliman to prove the watch is legit.
Btw all watch images are copyright of Christie’s auction house; If you zoom in on them, you can see that the watch has a fair amount of wear. I wonder what its TZ rating is?
Thoughts? I absolutely love this titanium variant; It’s on the must have list but I prefer BNIB. But what do you think?
