Announced at Baselworld 2019, Bugatti and Jacob & Co. The partnership between has already given birth to some amazing watches based on the Epic X Chrono, Twin Turbo and Twin Turbo Furious. And of course, there’s the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. This tribute to the eponymous supercar, inspired by its flowing lines, is attractive and animated. Engine block Under its sapphire crystal. Designed to reproduce a Bugatti 16-cylinder engine, the Chiron is controlled by a 30º inclined tourbillon. Push the timepiece’s right-hand crown and the engine springs to life – its crankshaft turns and 16 pistons pump up and down like a real engine.
Designed in honor of Jean Bugatti, the latest watch to emerge from this partnership is no less stunning. Jacob & Co. The Jean Bugatti Tourbillon Chronograph relies on an impressive technical concept that is far more complicated than it appears at first glance. Equipped with a double tourbillon and a chronograph, this is no ordinary marriage, the watch has (relatively speaking) a traditional, conservative design – at least for Jacob.
